I recently had the pleasure of collaborating with earth pigment artist JessyJo Darling filming throughout the Lake Tahoe basin in California. Each painted series JessyJo creates is based on a region of the world. All the pigments are collected, ground down, and mixed into paint used to create her artwork. Together with her awesome husband Gil, the three of us explored the Lake Tahoe area utilizing drones to capture the behind the scenes of what goes into creating JessyJo’s style of art. This video and her Lake Tahoe series premiered September 17th at the Alpenglow Festival hosted at the Tahoe Beach Club benefiting the non profit Clean Up The Lake.
