We spent an awesome weekend in mid-October covering the the Best in the Desert Blue Water Desert Challenge in Parker, Arizona. Since it was a lap race, we were able to capture the action over 3 days: 2 laps Thursday during the Time Trials and 3 laps during the racing on both Saturday and Sunday.These shots are just the best of the best shots I got of the top racers.

The 8th annual Joshua Tree Music Festival was held May 14-16. Music lovers and artists from all over the world rejoiced as they came together for one of the craziest shows around. There is something special about the Joshua Tree desert, there seems to be a uncanny positive energy in the air that one can not explain. Stellar music, dancing, and genuinely good people were the theme of the weekend.
