Three full days and nights packed heavy with dancing, laughter, and love. The Joshua Tree Music Festival never fails to disappoint in those three categories. We arrived in the high desert late Thursday night and were welcomed with awesome performances by Michael Reyes and Gene Jr. & the Family. It was like a pre party to the actual festival.
The next day was spent mostly resting and attempting to beat the heat. We still managed to get out for a few adventures and got to see Trevor Green throw down on the didgeridoo.
As the sunset turned into night Dogon Lights took the stage and gave us an unforgettable set.
Saturday daytime highlights included performances by La Santa Cecilia who really got the crowd pumped
Saturday night was outrageously good. It started out with Nahko & Medicine for the People taking the stage and showering all of us with positive energy. You can definitely see it in people’s faces
And just when you thought the night couldn’t get any better, electronic and dance powerhouse Kraak and Smaak got the crowd going crazy. What a show!
And the next day….. signing off
